Clear all of the Crusader's Cathedral including the annexes before attempting Scarlet Commander Mograine. If not, once you touch Mograine everything will come at you.

Once he's dead High Inquisitor Whitemane appears out from the large double doors behind the alter. Once she is down to about half health she will sleep your party and resurrect Commander Mograine. Once you're out of sleep you should kill Whitemane first as she can heal, then finish off Mograine.

Note: Any DoTs planted on Whitemane before she sleeps you will be dispelled once you are asleep.
